How It Works

How to open a GLB file online

Step 1

Drop in your GLB file

Drag a .glb onto the viewer, or a .gltf together with its .bin and image files.

Step 2

Look at it from every angle

Drag to turn the model, scroll to zoom, right-drag to move it.

Step 3

Save a picture or a mesh

Download a PNG of the view, or the model as GLB or STL.

Use Cases

When a GLB viewer helps

Check an asset before you use it

Open a model from a colleague or an asset library and see it with its materials.

Stays on your device

The model opens in your browser, not on a server.

Pass the shape on

Save the model as STL for a tool that only reads meshes.

About GLB

What is a GLB file?

A GLB file is a 3D model with its shape, materials and textures packed into one file. It is measured in metres.

A .gltf file holds the same model split up, so select its .bin and image files too. Animated, compressed and instanced models are not supported.

GLB downloads keep the materials; STL downloads keep only the shape.

Need another 3D format?

One viewer opens STEP, IGES, GLB, STL and OBJ.
